Pinto Lake & RV Park

Pinto Lake City Park is located at 451 Green Valley Road in Watsonville, CA. This lakeside park offers boating, fishing, picnic areas, a baseball diamond, volleyball court and an RV Park. You are welcomed to bring your own boat, raft, kayak, canoe or inflatable watercraft onto the lake, but you are subject to inspection and launch fees. The park consists of 78 acres, 70 of which are water and 8 are land.

As of April 2017, the City of Watsonville, Parks & Community Services Department has assumed the oversight of the service operations at Pinto Lake Park and the RV Park.
Due to COVID-19 our park hours are limited. Currently, Pinto Lake is open from 7a.m. to 5 p.m., everyday. It is, however, subject to closures based on weather conditions (like flooding). Boating and RV hours are limited. Please see below.
Picnic Tables & Pavilion Reservations
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to help slow the spread, we are currently suspending all reservations. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Boat Inspection & Fees
To prevent the infestation of Zebra and Quagga Mussels, every boat must be inspected and approved before being launched into the lake. Boaters can participate in our Banding Program to bypass a full inspection and save on fees. If you plan on launching a boat into the lake, you must have your boat inspected.

- Up to 12’ long - $10 resident / $12 non-resident
- Over 12’ long - $12 resident / $12 non-resident
Annual Launch Permit
$60 resident / $80 non-resident
Daily Launch Permit
$10 resident / $15 non-resident

RV Park Reservations & Fees
Update (December 17, 2020) California has issued a Regional Stay at Home Order to stop the surge of COVID-19 cases and prevent a strain on the health care system. This action will help protect critical care for patients. As such, our parks will remain open; however our RV campground will be closed through January 7th.
