Environmental Science Workshop is a unique program for students to engage in hands-on science concepts, while gailing an appreciation for how surplus materials can be kept out of the landfill and re-used in creative and exciting ways. CONTIGO is a free gang prevention and intervention program for youth and families in the Marinovich Park Neighborhood. It follows a wrap-around program model which combines successful gang prevention, intervention and family and community development strategies. With this unique approach, it provides youth with skills and helps them make positive and healthy decisions to resist a life of gang violence, drugs and advance their education.
