Catch-A-Killer Club


Do you love mystery, suspense, and horror? Think you'd be a great detective? Join our team of amateur sleuths to catch a killer on the loose at Camp Calamity! We'll be digging into the clues and putting our problem-solving skills to the test while we figure out who killed the camp counselor. 

Every Wednesday in October
2:30-4:30pm at the Main Library

Mask Making Workshop


In this workshop for ages 7+ one can create a unique mask using plaster tape and paint. This is a two part workshop series. The first workshop will consist of assembling a mask using plaster tape and water, and the second workshop will consist of decorating your mask with paint.

Thursday, October 6 and Thursday, October 13
6pm at the Main Library

The audience for this program is ages 7 & up. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis as supplies are limited.

NANOWRIMO Write-In


Think you can finish a novel in 30 days? Not sure, but want to try? National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an exciting challenge centered around creative writing. The challenge: write an entire novel in a single month! Watsonville Public Library will be offering a series of NaNoWriMo Write-ins for aspiring and current novelists.

Art Academy

Art Academy


Explore modern art during our Art Academy program.
Our featured artist for the month of November will be Matisse. 
Participants are encouraged to recreate a specific work of the featured artist or create an original work in the style of that artist. Supplies will be provided.

There are 24 seats available per program, and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Do you love music and want to connect with other music aficionados? The theme for this meeting will be “Covers” – this could be your favorite and least favorite covers, a cover that you feel is better than the original, etc. It’s up to you!

Animation Creation Club

Animation Creation Club

Know someone that is curious about animation? Learn how to make and share creative short videos using paper, lego bricks, clay and toys! The library will provide recording video-recording equipment but we would like to encourage children to bring in a smartphone if they have one.
