Request for bids for bicycle safety improvements shall be submitted by 11:00 am on June 13, 2019. The project will consist of installation of traffic stripes, green thermoplastic,for bike lanes. Includes appropriate signage.
Requests for bids for the Roache Road Sanitary Sewer Replacement shall be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on May 21, 2019.
The project will replace 1,900 linear feet of 6-inch sewer pipe with 8-inch diameter PVC sewer pipe, removing and replacing three manholes, installing two new manholes, locating all active sewer laterals and reconnecting them to new sanitary sewer, and reconstruct paving to restore roadway.

Well 19 Generator Replacement Project

RFQ Statements from Constructions Management Firms for Periodic and On Call Professional Construction Management and Project Management Services
The City will be hiring a variety of construction management firms to provide the services needed for building and park projects. Scope of work can range from managing projects from start to finish to as-needed on call services. The City will establish a list of consultants pre-qualified for project and construction management services. Projects will be assigned to firms from the project list, or other projects not on the list but of similar nature. There is no guarantee that a particular firm will be called upon to perform services during the life of the contract.
The Engineering Division is responsible for public works construction projects for the city. These projects include new construction, improvements and renovations of public buildings, parks and recreation facilities, streets, traffic signals, street lights, wastewater collection system, water systems and storm systems. Public Works improvement projects in excess of $175,000 are subject to formal competitive sealed bidding.

Beginning 2015-04-01, the City of Watsonville may only award public works projects to contractors and subcontractors that comply with the new Public Works Contractor Registration Law (SB 854). More information is available at the following links:

The City of Watsonville uses eBidboard, a web-based bid management service, as an electronic plan room. Potential contractors, subcontractors and suppliers may view current projects, register as plan holders, view the plan holders list, download plans and specifications, receive addendum notices and obtain bid results. This information is available free of charge.
