Watsonville Police and Fire will maintain necessary public safety staffing levels as our community takes steps to limit the risk of COVID-19 transmission. While we have closed offices as a precaution from March 16-20, the public safety needs of our neighbors remain our top priority. Our officers and firefighters are equipped with safety equipment to ensure they can responsibly interact with the public. In addition, dispatchers are asking callers relevant questions related to COVID-19 symptoms so that first responders have the information they need to help the community. Police, Fire and City offices will be closed to the public and some services will be limited during this precautionary closure. Our first responders remain on-duty and ready to serve our community. As a reminder, please be respectful of others and limit 911 calls to emergencies. Questions on COVID-19 should be directed to public health officials. We are all in this together. REMINDER: If you need to file a police report, you can do so online at watsonvillepd.com. To report a non-emergency (POLICE), call 471-1151 or 831-471-1170 (FIRE).
