Say hello to the latest officers to join the Watsonville Police Department!
The trio—Chance Denecke, Angel Hernandez, and Marcos Rios—was sworn in by Chief Honda Thursday afternoon.
Officer Trainees Denecke, Hernandez, and Rios will start our 6-month Field Training Program first thing tomorrow morning. They will need to successfully complete the program before being released to patrol on their own.

El trío—Chance Denecke, Ángel Hernández y Marcos Ríos— fue juramentado por el Jefe de Policía David Honda el jueves por la tarde.
Los oficiales comenzarán nuestro programa de formación policial de 6 meses a primera hora mañana. Tendrán que completar el programa exitosamente antes de que puedan patrullar solos y sin la asistencia de nuestros instructores.
