Watsonville Police Officer Evan Umstead was recently recognized for his commitment to keeping our community safe from drunk drivers.
This past year, Ofc. Umstead took 24 intoxicated drivers off our roadways.
His efforts to prevent another life from being taken at the hands of an impaired driver were recognized during the 2021 Law Enforcement Recognition Awards hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD).
