As we continue our commitment to keeping this community safe, we ask that you celebrate this holiday season responsibly by not driving under the influence.
Starting this Wednesday through New Year’s Day, we will have additional officers on patrol looking for drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
The extra enforcement effort is part of a national campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, with the goal of stopping suspected impaired drivers who put others at risk.
Impaired driving is not just from alcohol. Do your research and understand how certain drugs may affect your driving ability.
Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Este esfuerzo adicional es parte de la campaña nacional, Maneja Tomado y Serás Arrestado, con el objetivo de detener a presuntos conductores ebrios que ponen a otros en riesgo.
Conducir en estado de ebriedad no se debe únicamente al alcohol. Investigue y comprenda cómo ciertos medicamentos pueden afectar su capacidad para conducir.
Los fondos para este programa provienen de una subvención de la Oficina de Seguridad de Seguridad Vial de California, a través de la Administración Nacional de Seguridad de Tránsito en las Carreteras.
