For the third year in a row, Chief of Police David Honda has given the green light to Watsonville police officers to forgo facial hair grooming so they can participate in a fun-raising event for the children of Jacob's Heart Cancer Support Service.

For the third year in a row, Chief of Police David Honda has given the green light to Watsonville police officers to forgo facial hair grooming so they can participate in a fun-raising event for the children of Jacob’s Heart Cancer Support Service. Every participating officer will donate $100 to Jacob’s Heart and grow their beards for three months, beginning July 1st and ending September 30th.

Watch the Beard Brigade as their facial hair grows to great lengths, and join them to support kids with cancer and their families by donating to Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Service.
