We’ve begun to phase out our use of the Nixle platform for alert notifications. Starting in November, our department will strictly streamline all community alert notifications through the Watsonville Police Department mobile app.
Our department rolled out the mobile app in 2018. Since then, we’ve successfully sent residents important notifications, such as emergency alerts, traffic delays, missing persons, etc., directly to their cell phones. The app is available to both Apple and Android users.

Hemos comenzado a eliminar gradualmente nuestro uso de la plataforma Nixle para las notificaciones de alerta. A partir de noviembre, nuestro departamento simplificará todas las alertas comunitarias estrictamente a través de la aplicación móvil del Departamento de Policía de Watsonville.
Nuestro departamento lanzó la aplicación móvil en el 2018.
