A Disaster Recovery Center opened January 21, 2023 to help residents impacted by the storms and flooding in our region.

Residents can access information and resources needed for recovery, regardless of the type of damage suffered, location of impacted residence or business, insurance status, immigration status, or any other factor. The center, located at 1301 Main St., will be open daily from 9AM-7PM.

The Ramsay Park Disaster Recovery Center includes staff from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the California Office of Emergency Service (CalOES), the County of Santa Cruz, the City of Watsonville, and various state and local agencies that include disaster recovery as part of their mission.

The U.S. Small Business Administration and the California Small Business Development Center have also opened a Business Recovery Center in Capitola to provide a wide range of services to businesses impacted by severe winter storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides. The center is located at the Capitola City Hall Community Room (420 Capitola Avenue) from 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday.
