Watsonville Police Officers and Firefighters are teaming up to help fight the battle against breast cancer and you can help!
All through October, breast cancer awareness month, they will wear pink patches on their uniforms. The agencies joined forces to design a one-of-a-kind pink patch to generate
conversation within the community, raise awareness about the importance of early detection and the on-going fight against this disease. Most importantly, the pink patches show our support and unity with those affected by breast cancer.
Last year, the police department donated more than $6,000 to breast cancer research and they hope 2018 will be another successful year. It’s important to note that all funds are used specifically
for families of Watsonville affected by breast cancer.
The pink patches are being sold at the Watsonville Police and Fire Department for $10.00 each. Join us in this battle against breast cancer. SAME COLOR. SAME TEAM. SAME CURE.
