Because who wouldn’t want to dunk a cop?

The dunk tank was a total hit at the fundraising event! However, the highlight of the day was officers presenting Jacob’s Heart a $3,400 check so that the non-profit organization can continue to help children with cancer.

More than 30 WPD officers donated $100 each and in return, the police chief allowed them to grow their beards until the end of September.

Since 2014, Watsonville officers have donated nearly $13,500 to Jacob’s Heart. The police department is already looking forward to next year.
