Why spend your hard earned money on single use plastic water bottles, when you can safely drink Watsonville's tap water for just pennies per gallon?
Every day the City of Watsonville pumps, treats, tests, and delivers nearly 7 million gallons of clean drinking water from local groundwater wells and creeks! Watsonville's water is regulated by the State and Federal government to ensure your potable water meets all the standards for drinking water safety. City Lab Technicians test our tap water weekly for bacteria, color, odor, and turbidity at our State-certified Water Quality Lab. It is not necessary to boil tap water before drinking. To improve tap water test, add a lemon slice, use a water filter, or leave in the fridge for 30 minutes.
To learn more about the quality of your water check out the City of Watsonville's complete Water Quality Report, available online.
You may also request a water quality report to be mailed to your home by calling 768-3133 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org
