4. Our recruitment process is not active at this time. However, we are creating a list of local EMT’s interested in serving their community as firefighter paramedics. If you are a certified EMT and are serious about a career as a paramedic-accredited firefighter with Watsonville Fire, we invite you to submit an interest card. We are creating an interest list to sponsor local EMT’s through paramedic school. 

   The paramedic school will require a 6-9 month commitment. Upon successful graduation, the candidate will have an opportunity to be hired as a paramedic-accredited firefighter.  

   After you submit your interest card, we will keep your card on file and notify you when an orientation is scheduled.
